IV International Conference "Reading and Literacy in Education and Culture: New Names in a New Century"
Forth International Conference “Reading and Literacy in Education and Culture: New Names in a New Century” (A Contest of Young Researchers) took place in March 27 - 28, 2015 in the Russian State Children’s Public Library. The event was backed by Russian State Children’s Public Library, Federal Agency on Press and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation and Psychological Institute of Russian Academy of Education. The conference included plenary, breakout sessions and a Round Table discussion devoted to the Year of Literature: National and Foreign Literature: reading, translation, promotion.

Project "Homo Legens"
By creating a community of fans of reading we realized that we have a few photos of our own, where we read. And in 1997 it was first announced the project "Homo legens". Members of our association collected photos of themself, their loved ones, colleagues reading. Since that time the project continues.

Our very first steps
The album contains very "first steps" of Readind Association of Russia as an independent organization in 1994. Period 1999 - 2001 g. includes several iconic events: The "Portfolio" authentic assessment, training and exchange of experience with Finnish colleagues in Moscow, a joint conference Rach, IRA and participants of the project "Critical thinking".
